Delete your Ruthy account

This page explains how to permanently delete your Ruthy account, what data is removed, and what the consequences are.
Important: deletion is permanent
Once confirmed, account deletion is permanent and irreversible. You cannot restore your account or recover your history. To use Ruthy again in the future, you will need to create a new account.
How to delete your account from the app
- Open the Ruthy app on your iOS or Android device.
- Sign in if you are not already signed in.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap "Delete account".
- Read the permanence warning and confirm your decision.
- Your account is closed immediately and the deletion process on our servers completes within a maximum of 30 days.
If you no longer have access to the app
If you uninstalled the app or lost access to your device, write to us at info@audoratech.com from the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within a maximum of 30 days from verification.
What data is deleted
- Your first name and last name.
- Your email address.
- Your account record in our backend.
- Your Firebase Authentication identity (associated Google or Apple ID).
- Internal logs and records linked to your account.
- The local cache and session data on your device (when you delete the account from the app, the process clears the local cache automatically).
What you lose by deleting your account
- Access to the email or social login you used to sign in.
- Any usage history or settings associated with your account.
- In the future, when in-app purchases become available, you will lose access to cities or paid tours linked to that account. Payment platforms (Apple App Store and Google Play Store) maintain independent records of your purchases according to their own policies.
What data is retained and why
- Anonymized diagnostic data (Firebase Crashlytics): automatically retained for up to 90 days according to the provider's policy; not linked to your personal identity.
- Purchase records (if applicable): when in-app purchases exist, transaction records will be retained for the period required by Argentine tax and accounting obligations, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Deletion timeframe
Deletion of your personal data on our servers completes within a maximum of 30 days from your request (in-app or by email), as established by Article 17 of the GDPR and Argentina's Law 25.326.
