Lucas Botta (Laguna Larga, Córdoba, 1990) holds degrees in History and Education and taught secondary-school history for over a decade before turning to history communication full-time.
In 2020, during the pandemic, he recorded a first audio about feudalism for his students. That episode went viral and gave rise to Historia en Podcast — today one of the most listened-to history shows in Spanish, with more than 250 episodes and listeners across dozens of countries. He also directs Historia en Podcast Academia, his online-courses platform.
He is a Planeta author — he published «Alta en el cielo. Una historia de la bandera argentina» (2024) and «Chamuyos que hicieron historia» (2026) — a history columnist on Cadena 3's «Caminos de la Historia», and took his stage show of the same name to theatres across Argentina.
